However, when you look back you will see that many times he was just being honest and straight with you to move things to the finish line. Chad did a great job. He is very straight forward and to the point. He delivered on everything he said he was going to do. He is a bit blunt I feel for most people but that is what you need as a buyer or seller. I would list with him again and would buy a property that he has listed. He gives a realistic value to you business. As a small business owner, I don't feel that there is another choice out there in our area equivalent to the value Chad gives.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chad when I was looking to acquire my first business. He is not only a wealth of knowledge but in speaking with him I could immediately see that he thought of and approached business and life from a different perspective. Chad is not a negative guy by any means and but he is not a big rah rah emotional speaker type either. One take away from speaking with him is that you're belief system needs to be completely laser focused and clear. That you not only will not fail but that you cannot fail and you will relentlessly and tirelessly commit yourself to do everything you can to achieve your goals and dreams. There is no clocking out at 5pm. There is no Monday through Friday work week. There is only make every action count in the direction of your goals. Set your mind on total achievement of your goals and let nothing sway you or be permitted to throw you off course. Then set another goal and hit that and another and hit that one. And then at the end a couple years look in the mirror and assess again. This isn't rocket science but this is the science of successfully achieving objectives. What do you dream about? Put it on paper and define it and own it to the point that it's already yours and in front of you, you just need to get there.After reading his book I will tell you that if you doubt yourself then you will fail at just about anything you do in life. Chad tells you to believe in yourself and then find a direction to get laser focused about and go get it. Period! If you're not willing to do what he did and follow his footsteps imprinted in the dirt then go waste a whole bunch of time and money getting your informal degree reading self-help fairy tales. Here's Chad's blueprint and I recommend that you pick up a copy of 'From Blue To White'. I no longer believe that it takes money to make money. But I do wholeheartedly believe that it takes relentless effort to make enough money and one day live your dreams. How much is enough? How big are your dreams? You decide. So what are you waiting for?

About a year ago, I mentioned to one of my customers in about the same business as I have, that after being in business over 40 years, I was about ready to put my company up for sale soon. He told me that perhaps he would be interested in the purchase. We went through all the twists and turns and had contracts written up and even a down payment through my lawyer.One of the points in the contract was that I was not to tell anyone about my selling the company until after the sale. I forgot all about this and mentioned it to my best customer. After I told my buyer that I had done this, he backed out of the sale. I had to return the down payment (through my lawyer, of course) and forget about the sale.Right then is when I figured I would not be able to handle this sale myself and just about the same time, I received a flyer from Peterson Acquisitions, which I placed in the 'do later' file.About a month later, I figured I would give them a call, just to see what would happen.Well, let me tell you...Chad told me that my asking price was too low and that he could take my company and obtain a better price and it should not take very long.Would you believe, I had about six or eight prospective buyers interview me within a few weeks and the one prospective buyer spent less time with me than any of the others, and he offered me a good price, but it wasn't what Chad had asked for. Chad bartered for a short while and I still wound up with a lot more than I would have obtained in the first proposed sale, even after the commission.I must admit that I was blown away by being taken care of so expertly, by all of the people Chad has helping him. I didn't think it was possible to sell my sign business. I contacted several consultants to sell the business but Peterson Acquisitions were quick to find the buyers to purchase.
